JulianBSambataro

My dad, Julian B. Sambataro, passed away of a heart attack on January 24, 2001, only a few days before the Baltimore Ravens won the Superbowl. But that didn’t matter to him because he was a lifetime avid fan of the Washington Redskins.

He was probably my best friend; in fact he did stand by my side at my wedding, to my wife Cindy in 1981, as my “Best Man.”

It may make sense why I’m honoring my father by naming our health and healing center after him just by what I’ve told you, but that is not the primary reason. It really is to honor a man who suffered many physical ailments his entire life but did not complain or allow these to keep him from being a very productive and successful businessman, friend, husband, father, and grandfather. In fact, despite all his health issues he was truly enlightened, very inspirational and exemplified a very spiritual being.

Although I now know much more about what it takes to achieve optimum health, I can’t say, “If I only knew then what I know now he would probably still be with us.” The reason I can’t say that is there were two issues that I was very knowledgeable about that may have contributed to his heart attack.

The first is the extensive knowledge I had about the dangers of root canals. I had studied the work of Dr. Weston Price, which revealed the toxicity to the body by the presence of root canals. The second body of information was my background in the contribution of snoring and sleep apnea to poor health, which I studied extensively in the mid 1990’s. However, when I failed to receive support from the local Sleep Centers about how the use of oral appliances could help patients with sleep disorders, I didn’t pursue it any further.

In spite of my knowledge about root canals I continued to look for alternatives to treating dead teeth that were not available to Dr. Weston Price. On January 3, 2001 I performed root canal therapy on my father exactly 21 days before his heart attack. If you understand the principle of the 7-14-21 days immune cycle you will understand how I felt when I realized I may have contributed to his death.

I also knew my Dad was a chronic snorer but I never suggested to make him an oral appliance to help reduce this stress to his cardiovascular system.

So now it may make sense as to why I’m honoring him in this way as I will not allow his death to go unnoticed. I will honor him by reaching out to the community to help those who may be suffering, as he was. I have now made it my mission to change health care in this country so people do not have to suffer or die prematurely.

Dad, I love you and my memory of you will never fade. Thank you for the legacy you have left behind.
